Data Privacy Week 2025

Much like a Christmas puppy, data privacy it not just for a week but for life. However, from 27-31 January 2025 the National Cybersecurity Alliance is promoting Data Privacy Week.

Described as “an international effort to empower individuals and businesses to respect privacy, safeguard data and enable trust”, it is intended to encourage users to take control of their data, both in in personal and commercial environments.

The alliance, which includes the biggest names in tech including Amazon, Apple, Cisco, Google, Mastercard, Microsoft and Visa, says “We think data privacy should be a priority both for individuals and organizations. Our goal is twofold: we want to help citizens understand that they have the power to manage their data, and we want to help organizations understand why it is important that they respect their users’ data.”

Strident is a Privacy Champion

Champions are businesses that are dedicated to promoting a safer, more secure online world. This is a role that Strident takes seriously and data security is a cornerstone of the services we offer to customers.

Security does not impede productivity
