Introduction

Strident Ltd are a provider of IT Products, IT support and Compliance Services and have created this Privacy Policy to ensure that we meet legal and regulatory requirements regarding the personal data we collect about you.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and how we protect it.

We also detail how you can complain to us or the Supervisory Authority, whose contact details are listed in Appendix A.

What personal information do we collect about you?

If you are a customer using Strident IT or Compliance services, we collect personal data you have provided to us to complete the requirements of your contract with us, to conduct our legitimate interests and to meet legal and regulatory requirements.

The personal data we process about our customers is in a business-to-business setting and includes:

• Your name and job title
• Your email address and telephone number
• Your work address and location
• Voice recordings when you contact us for support

This data is retained for 6 years after your contract with us has ended. Call recordings are retained for no longer than 2 years.

Additionally, when you visit the Strident website, further personal data is collected, this data includes:

• IP address
• Cookies

If you choose to contact us via our website, you can choose to provide us with the following personal data:

• Name, email address & business name (if you choose to provide this via the website)
• Details of your query

Strident will retain this data for no longer than two years, unless you become a Strident customer as a result of your query.

How will Strident use your information?

Strident will use this information to complete the requirements of your contract with us and to improve your experience of our website (if you use our website to browse or contact us).

We will also use your information to contact you about new products and services available at Strident, and to inform you of events and other news we feel may benefit you or your organisation.

The legal basis applied to this processing is:

• For the performance of a contract
• Legitimate interest

Strident will not sell your information to third parties and we do not transfer this data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

The information Strident holds about you will only be used for the above purposes.

Information Sharing

Strident Ltd will only share the data listed above in the following circumstances:

• Carefully selected and security vetted third parties who help us provide our own services including Microsoft, ESET, and Datto.
• We share cookie and IP data with our website provider.
• Your name may also be viewed by BSI for the purposes of maintaining Strident’s ISO certifications.
• Your personal data is not recorded by BSI, only viewed for the purposes of audit verification.
• Where criminal activity is suspected, we may share this information with law enforcement agencies upon their request – this excludes private investigators. Strident will not disclose Personal Data in this instance.

How will Strident protect your information?

Strident use a range of security techniques to protect your personal data, these are, but are not limited to:

• A certified ISO27001 Information Security Management System
• Strict access control
• Network security controls & monitoring activities
• Endpoint device security & monitoring
• Physical security control & monitoring
• Robust and up to date anti - malware programs are utilised
• Secure data disposal
• Staff security training and awareness
• Control of Third Parties via security assessment

Your Rights

Strident upholds Data Subjects' rights by ensuring that you can have access, upon request, to any of the data we hold about you.

You have other rights in regard to your Personal Data that you may exercise where Strident have no legal basis to reject your request, these rights are:

• You may object or restrict our handling of your data and to restrict direct marketing
• You may have access to your data and have it delivered to you in a portable, readable and useable format
• You may have your data corrected or updated at any time if you believe the data we hold is incorrect
• You may have your data erased from our systems when we have no legal reason for retaining it

If you wish to exercise your rights as detailed above, please contact the Strident Data Protection Officer who will respond to you within 30 days.
