Microsoft announces price increase for Cloud

Microsoft has announced today that it will be reviewing the pricing of its Microsoft Cloud products twice per year to ensure consistent pricing against the US dollar. Given recent changes in the global exchange rates, this sees UK prices rise by 9% effective from 1 April 2023. (This isn't an April Fool's joke!)

Microsoft Cloud products and solutions are cloud-powered services that can be used individually or together and include Azure, Microsoft Security, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and specific industry solutions.

Microsoft states that "The Microsoft Cloud continues to be priced competitively, and Microsoft remains deeply committed to the success of its customers and partners. We will continue to invest to enable customers to innovate, consolidate and eliminate operating costs, optimize business performance and efficiency and provide the foundation for a strong security strategy that customers around the world have come to rely on."
