Internet Explorer no longer supported from 15 June 2022

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11 is the final version of the web browser. It was released by Microsoft on October 17, 2013 but will no longer be supported (that means no security updates) from 15 June 2022. IE was superseded by Microsoft Edge (read our update here), a more modern browser than enables users to exploit the growing sophistication of web-based applications.

Internet Explorer mode

However, some legacy systems may still be using technology baked into Internet Explorer 11 that is incompatible with the newer Edge browser. In this case, you are still able to run Microsoft Edge in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) which provides legacy browser support within Microsoft Edge. For improved productivity and security for your business, Microsoft and Strident recommend moving to Microsoft Edge.
