We take sustainability seriously and our green credentials increasingly underpin our offers to the market. Our energy-efficient hardware is better for the environment and our cloud-based solutions reduce the requirement for power-hungry servers. Our headquarters is Neutral Territory, a carbon-neutral workplace, and we are Suffolk Low Carbon Charter holders.
As Carbon Charter members, we calculate our carbon footprint each year and offset it by planting trees in protected rainforest. The scheme is run by the well-respected World Land Trust.
Sir David Attenborough, OM CH FRS and Patron of the World Land Trust said "I welcome WLT's Carbon Balanced programme as a way of putting back what we are taking away. I would urge everyone to think deeply about what is important in life and to consider the consequence of daily activities. Balancing carbon emissions with the WLT means that the Trust is able to put even more into our key objectives - acquiring land for conservation."
Since it was established in 1989, the World Land Trust has been able, with the help of its supporters, to fund the purchase and protection of more than 774,000 acres of tropical forest and other threatened habitats which would otherwise have been lost.
