Powered by sunshine!

We're further enhancing our green credentials by installing fast-charging points for colleagues and visitors to charge their electric vehicles. This complements the solar panels installed on our building earlier in the year, enabling cars to be charged by sunshine!

The initiative has been managed by Neutral Territory, owners of our Claydon Court office space and, like Strident, a Suffolk Carbon Charter member. We are always keen to take the greenest options, such specifying power-efficient hardware, and this is another way we can keep our carbon footprint down.

Three Claydon Court tenants are involved, including Kingsfleet Wealth Management and Waddington Brown, and get priority use of charge points for their colleagues and guests.  The EV charging points are installed by fellow charter member, Greenscape Energy.

"We have made a lot of energy saving investments over the years," explained Neutral Territory's Richard Parker, "Other organisations often need encouragement to take action, and Claydon Court is a great example of best practice."
