We're delighted to be supporting Suffolk Dog Day again this year. Run by and raising money for the Suffolk Community Foundation, Suffolk Dog has a lot of attractions and activities for dogs and their families!
"The Suffolk Community Foundation raises a lot of money for local causes but also tries to find support and solutions from local sources too. The Dog Day is a fun way to help good causes across the county," says Chris Joberns, managing director at Strident.
Suffolk Community Foundation was created through the generosity of local people to support charities and community groups in Suffolk, improving the quality of life for everyone in Suffolk. It connects local people who care passionately about Suffolk with grassroots causes that really make a difference to our local communities.
The foundation supports local charities and community groups who are tackling disadvantage and addressing real needs at a community level in whatever form it takes. Established in 2005, it has already given away £15 million in grants to help local people find local solutions to community needs from the grassroots up across Suffolk.
