Simplify appointments with Microsoft Bookings

Part of Office 365, Microsoft Bookings lets your customers easily schedule appointments and helps your colleagues save time.

Microsoft Bookings is an extension to your Office 365 core suite. The free business app allows your customers to book an appointment with a member of your team and will send customers a booking confirmation and appointment reminders automatically. The appointments and details will automatically appear in your Office 365 calendar in real-time.

"It’s a great system for businesses that want to simplify the appointments process. Businesses can quickly set up a booking page that provides details of appointment types, such as 30-minute introduction or a 2-hour consultation and team members able to offer those services. Team members highlight what times of the week they are available for appointments and Microsoft Bookings will make those times available to customers," explains Chris Joberns, Strident managing director.

Linked from your web site, web-based Bookings can be customised with your logo and brand colours. It places appointments directly into your calendar and allows customers to reschedule or cancel if necessary. You can make manual entries too and if a customer makes a change, your calendar is updated automatically.

"It’s a flexible system that saves time but also helps colleagues manage their time more easily. In addition, the Bookings app for smartphones and tablets lets colleagues easily keep up to date with appointments when they’re out and about and they can even use the app to email, call, or text customers if the need to.
