Our latest version of the Strident Advanced Monitoring System (SAMS) helps us to more quickly identify computers that have not been updated with the latest security patches. An initial audit showed that 17% of monitored desktops and PC's were not running the latest software patches.

Keeping security patches up to date helps to prevent malware and ransomware attacks, many of which are only successful on computers that have not been updated.

The new version of SAMS allows us to install these patches remotely without affecting users. We have completed rolling this out to all our customers, it operates in the background and users don't need to do anything.
