Investing in business as well as technical skills

We are constantly investing in colleagues' technical IT skills but we ensure our business skills are up to scratch too.

Strident's business-first approach has been a key differentiator in the IT Support marketplace, ensuring we deliver relevant and practical IT solutions that help our customers become more productive.

As part of this approach Chris Joberns, managing director, has completed his ILM Diploma in Leadership and Management. The qualification not only provides extensive business knowledge, including areas such as finance and marketing, but also leadership skills to help facilitate innovation and change.

"These skills benefit Strident and the customer service we offer but also help us offer a proactive and more useful service by fully understanding the business management issues our customers face. For example, as we work towards ISO 27001 accreditation, we've been able to help our customers on wide range of data security considerations including the General Data Protection Regulation and the way that needs to be implemented their across businesses," explains Chris.

ILM is the UK's leading provider of leadership and management qualifications with 93,000 people take an ILM qualification every year.
