Data security briefing highlights GDPR impact

Our successful data security briefing highlights the wide-ranging impact of the General Data Protection Regulation.

More than 80 attendees from local businesses came to our GDPR Data Security briefing to hear presentations from industry experts Becky Moran, ISO and GDPR compliance and implementation guru, Darren Davies at ESET data security company and Strident managing director, Chris Joberns, who went through the 9 critical IT data security issues every company must address.

The briefing slides can be downloaded here in PDF.

"Businesses need to be getting their GDPR strategy in place now, looking at where their data is, where it's come from, is it held securely, who has access to it and is it being handled in an appropriate way," said Becky.

"It was clear from speaking with attendees that the briefing really highlighted the impact that the regulation will have on all businesses and the way they operate," said Chris.
