Suffolk Mind

Suffolk Mind works to improve the mental health of people across the region. Over the last few years East Suffolk Mind and West Suffolk Mind have worked together on a number of initiatives. These alliances have now developed into a coming together under the umbrella of Suffolk Mind which was formalised this year.

The head office contains twenty-five staff with nine remote project sites. Suffolk Mind came to Strident after their existing support provider was not maintaining the level of service required. They needed on-hand support with remote dial-in and helpdesk assistance and their main priority was that they have a reliable company that responds to calls and emails within a reasonable amount of time, as well as continuously proactively advising on infrastructure improvements with the advancement of technology and as their business changed.


Strident Computer Systems offered Suffolk Mind a full remote contract. This means that they have access to our helpdesk 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, our dedicated helpdesk engineers are always on-hand to answer and support any issues they may have, as well as proactively working with their account manager to advise on any infrastructure improvements or upgrades to improve the reliability or efficiency of their system.


Following an initial audit of all the sites, Strident now fully support East Suffolk Mind, including the VPN, server, internet and all software and hardware. This means that they have a company they can rely on to ensure the day-to-day running of the infrastructure is smooth and secure; four hour guaranteed response time and access to fully-trained and experienced engineers.
